Our Ultrasonic thickness gel is a medical grade,  non-toxic, medium viscosity couplant gel.

Specifically used to obtain a perfect connection between two materials.  

The gel removes the air-gap layer between the thickness gauge probe (transducer) and the material to be tested, to ensure a solid transmission of the ultrasonic sound wave pulse and echo.

Only a small amount of fluid is required to gain solid "coupling" or connection.
