BRM-10 manual Brix Refractometer with 0-10% Brix scale range. High resolution is perfect for quickly determining the sugar level (Brix) or TDS % of low concentration aqueous solutions.
Uses include to determine fruit ripeness in the field or at market, monitoring concentration levels of juices, condiments and industrial fluids such as cutting lubricants, soluble tempering oils, emulsifications and washing detergent powders.
To use, pipette 2-3 drops of the sample onto the palate and close the cover flap. Hold the refractometer towards a light source and look through the eye piece. The Brix % will be indicated by a defined line on the scale.
