The Test Block kits are used as a reference guide for users of durometers.

When using your durometer, the test block kit allows the user to get a "feel" for the correct pressure to use when testing for certain levels of hardness. This helps reduce errors caused by applying incorrect load pressure.  

The blocks can also be used as a reference to check for durometer calibration and also verify accuracy against any unexpected results.
